In prison, Robby researches Kreese and some of the things that he told him, including the All Valley tournament that Daniel won. Several other subplots continue to develop, and the busy nature of this third season really begins to make itself known here. His next idea is to literally light a fire under Miguel, but all he succeeds in doing is actually setting him alight. Miguel’s failure only makes him more frustrated, so perhaps positive vibes are better after all, but Johnny isn’t buying that. Johnny has other ideas for Miguel’s rehabilitation, which include dangling nudie mags on a fishing rod from a first-floor balcony. Amanda also catches Sam training Miyagi-Do. We also see the rest of the conversation between Kreese and Robby, but the latter isn’t interested in what he has to say - for now, anyway. Despite the fact that Kumiko apparently invited Chozen along, she’s amused by the dynamic and has no intention of sticking around, instead asking Chozen to give Daniel a tour around town.īack in the Valley, Miguel is getting his physical therapy from a New Age hippy type, which Johnny is obviously not thrilled about. But their subsequent conversation is deeply awkward. But I know for a fact I’ll be there to watch all of it go down.“Miyagi-Do” opens with a flashback to Okinawa in 1985, or more accurately a flashback to The Karate Kid Part II, giving viewers more context for Chozen as, in the present day, he bows to Daniel. ![]() With Season 5 of Cobra Kai all done and the future of both dojos up in the air, one can only wonder what will be next for the folks at these dojos and beyond. And it’s not long after that in which Silver is arrested. However, when Silver tries to play dirty and grab one of the trophies to smash into Daniel, LaRusso uses the element of surprise and his memories of the lessons Silver taught him years ago to slam his foot into Silver before he could effectively hurt Daniel, knocking Silver to the ground. ![]() Silver, at this point, is winded from his fight with Chozen, but he still attempts to fight against Daniel again despite the video of him confirming he bribed the referee at the championship now out to the public. When Silver arrives at the flagship Cobra Kai, Daniel is there with the rest of the adults and the kids. Whatever it is you want to say, this was it. Silver: Part 2 (Season 5, “Head Of The Snake”) ![]() It’s a shame Barnes’ whole store burned down though. It’s a great way to reintroduce Barnes back into the series. ![]() However, before all of them can be buddy-buddy, Chozen (who has become a main character during Season 5) ends up mistaking the situation for something hostile and fights through several of Mike’s workers and Mike himself before Daniel is able to break up the fight. Mike Barnes was actually one of the bullies and fighters Daniel had to face in Karate Kid III, and he came back in Season 5 as a possible ally against Silver when Daniel finds out that Mike has nothing to do with Silver’s takeover and gives Daniel the number to Silver’s old attorney in the episode, “Playing with Fire.” Well, technically not a “new” character to the Karate Kid franchise but one to the series. The first of many Season 5 fights on this list from Cobra Kai actually features Chozen and a new character, Mike. ![]()
